The Karate Kid we knew - Murali Mama

This is for Murali mama - Sincerely your's - Naani 1975 - A Family moved into our opposite house in Sea Sands No. 20 Prof. Chandramohan garu , Dr. JayaDevi, their two kids - Priya & Ravi Prof. Chandramohan garu was in the Erskine College of Natural Sciences(Zoology Department), very close to my father's Geology Department Every year, during the summer hols, one young and handsome chap used to visit them for a couple of weeks and used to take care of their two kids, later on came to know that he was their mama(Uncle) their mother's younger brother - Murali Dashing and quite active, he gave a very curious picture to onlookers. Time went by, and came in contact with him on one of Ravi's Birthday bashes which the parents used to celebrate with gaiety and laughter, hosting almost all the kids in the Colony, Sea Sands On one of these parties, we formally met him, and being their immediate neighbor we had more time with him than others so often invited him over for my mother's favorite biryani lunches which he licked his way through with lot of mouth-watering feel. We sort of liked him for his brashness and handsomeness too. I personally took a liking for his interest in Karate, which was everyone's favorite those days - thanks to Bruce After spending so many summers with him, seen him grow into a adult , then seen him get married with this girl Sumati from Chennai back in the 1980s, he was basically into the industry of Television & Movies and of course the Advertisement industry too. He grew well, and became quite famous with his small stints in films with Kamal Hassan and other actors of some really good films and sort of settled in there. Sumati & he were blessed with a nice son - Adithya who currently is pursuing his graduation back in the U S of A. Fate has another turning to everyone's life and so - life took it's toll on this guy too who thought that his career wasn't doing well and so just decides to leave everything behind to go back from where he came from. Hasn't spoken to him for quite a while and so did not know about this particular plans of his - will never know - why he took his life - God Bless you mama, will always Miss you, Love you and will never forget you. You will be idolized as long as there is fashion, there is Karate and there is a nice smile around on people's face
